About Me
Crystal Bradley, LCSW
NY and NJ State Licensed
Hi, I'm Crystal!

When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family, and trying to fit in movement outside. My favorite season is the fall due to its beauty. I'm an introvert at heart, who has learned to be more outgoing, and genuinely loves connecting with other people in a meaningful way.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State and New Jersey State, with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I find it so fulfilling to help my clients reduce their emotional pain, and improve their quality of life! I bring a person-centered, collaborative approach to the work.
I earned my BA in Psychology/Human Services from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and obtained my Master's in Social Work from Fordham University. My experience includes supporting individuals experiencing symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, as well as those experiencing life transitions and work-related stress.

There is hope.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, and like your life is out of balance?

Maybe you get so anxious and sad that it's negatively impacting your relationships, your health, and your sleep.
You just want to feel better.
Maybe you feel like you’ve given so much of yourself that you’re emotionally drained and struggling to regain a sense of who you are.
Perhaps life gets so overwhelming at times that you think about giving up. You know that’s not the answer, but you feel alone with these feelings. You worry that there’s no one you can talk to who will really understand. You’re scared of what others may think, or don’t want to burden people with your problems.

Have you always put other people's needs before yours? Maybe you're a peacekeeper, and struggle to ask for what you need. But you know that's not sustainable and want to learn how to prioritize yourself without feeling guilty.

Maybe you’ve recently gone through a significant life change, like a move, starting college or a new job, ending a relationship, or having a baby, and this change has shaken your confidence.

Do you want to understand why you’re scared of making mistakes and try to be perfect? You want to stop feeling like it’s never enough. You want to stop comparing yourself, including on social media, to other people.

You want to feel good enough.

My Approach
It's important that you and your therapist are a good fit.
I am passionate about creating a safe and validating environment during the therapeutic relationship, in which you will feel comfortable sharing honestly without fear of judgment or criticism. I find joy in developing a trusting relationship with you in which you will feel safe, heard, understood, cared for, and validated.

I begin our first session by providing a space for you to share your experiences, and work collaboratively to establish your goals for treatment. One of the purposes of a first appointment is to make sure we’re a good fit for one another. It's an opportunity for you to ensure you feel comfortable working with me. It will also allow me to get to know you and what you’re struggling with.

I have many years of experience using various therapeutic approaches. Using this experience, we will work together as a team to identify the most effective strategy to help you accomplish your personal goals.
Hope:
With work done in therapy, you can feel better. You don’t have to feel stuck. These are things we can talk through, and help you heal.
It is possible to restore a sense of balance in your life. Within a trusting therapeutic relationship, It is possible to work on prioritizing your own needs and establish a healthier work/life, school/life or home/life balance.
It is possible to feel more secure and confident in yourself, and to add yourself to the list of priorities in your life. You can learn to to provide yourself validation regarding a job well done, and reduce your reliance on others’ approval. It is possible to reduce your anxiety around not being perfect or making mistakes.
